Good afternoon, everyone! This is the first time I’ve ever asked for help! I’m not really sure how this works! I’m a 47-year-old woman; it will be a year in February since I lost my job – or rather, my own brother was my boss and he got me sacked with devious lies! Since then, I’ve been doing casual work which I enjoy, but unfortunately there’s none in the winter! Despite that, he sacked me even though he knows I look after our elderly, ailing mother! At the moment, we only have her pension, 50% of which is garnished by the bailiff, so we’re living on a total of 116,000 forints! The bills and other payments during the winter months are barely covered by this money! We’re left with about 5–10,000 forints from her pension! It’s true we have a place to live, and it’s true we don’t have children! My only wish is to get through the winter so I can provide everything my mum needs! I don’t heat any room except hers to save money! She spent Christmas very ill; her medicines cost nearly 25,000 forints, for which I had to borrow money – it was the only way I could manage it! Please, if anyone can help us even a little bit so we can get through the winter or until I find a job! Thank you in advance
