Hello, I'm Martina and I'm 52 years old.

I feel very uncomfortable asking for donations.

Unfortunately, we had to take out a loan in 2022 because of the economic crisis, as our monthly costs in Germany are exploding. Unfortunately, our children, aged 27, 21 and 19, can't support us financially because they need their own money. My husband's salary is just enough to cover all the monthly costs, but there is nothing left to live on. Food has become very expensive. In July 2025, we only had €160 to live on for the whole month, which is definitely not enough for 4 people. I myself don't get any support from the authorities (Bürgergel, Hartz 4) because the authorities say my husband earns €10 too much.

I believe in the good in people and hope that there are people out there who would help us financially.

As for myself, I am in poor health and therefore unfortunately cannot support my husband. I would like to work but the pain makes it impossible for me.
