Dear benevolent person,

My name is Diana and I am writing this at a time of great trial for my family. It is with deep humility and sincere hope that I ask for your support, as I sincerely desire to support and help my family.

Our family is large with eight children; two boys and six girls. Our mum is a housewife, totally dedicated to bringing up my younger brothers, while our father has not been able to work since he suffered a serious accident in which he broke his leg two years ago.

This unfortunate event put even more strain on our family, already facing many challenges.

Last October, our home was destroyed by a catastrophic fire caused by a short circuit. By God's grace, we all escaped unharmed, but the material loss was overwhelming.

Our already old house was reduced to ashes and we lost everything from our clothes, furniture, appliances, personal belongings and precious memories. It was as if a part of our lives had been completely erased, like pencil and eraser.

Although we are doing our best to recover, we simply do not have the financial resources to rebuild our home. The community, the church and kind-hearted people have come to our aid, offering us some support, but unfortunately it is not enough to cover the cost of building a new house from scratch.

We are a modest family that has always relied on hard work and perseverance to overcome the challenges of daily living and country life. It is therefore my hope and desire, through this message, to raise a sum of money to give as a Christmas present to our parents.

In this way, besides the joy of having some help in the purchase of materials to start rebuilding the house, I will be able to restore hope in their hearts with the festive season. Your help, whatever it may be, whether it be a word farther or a modest amount, will mean the world to them and make a substantial difference.
