Description

Dear all! Unfortunately I have to share my own story with you. This is how the life of a young mother of three children was completely turned upside down. I would like to describe what happened to me on April 3.

Unfortunately it is a turning point in my life. I was feeling very tired for the second day in a row, but with two small children and running a household, this was not considered a "major symptom". The problems started when I and those around me began to find it difficult to remember words and to mix up letters. I was at work on 3 April, everything was like a normal day, except that these symptoms were getting worse. By the evening I was getting worse, we decided on the ER. And three hours later we were standing there, paper in hand, knowing that nothing would ever be the same. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. They invested immediately, examination followed by examination, there was oedema around the tumour, it was affecting my speech centre, that's why my speech was slurred. Total mental, emotional breakdown, I am 46 years old, I have a family, 3 daughters, my partner, my life, my job. What will happen to me now, how do I go on? In the hospital in Zalaegerszeg they tried to get the water off the tumour, the next step was Pécs, examinations, finally the appointment was made and in mid-April during a partially awake operation they removed about 95% of the tumour. After the operation the long recovery started, but the next blow came when the histology results arrived. The tumour is aggressive, one of the worst types, glioblastoma, survival is very low, even that is 10-15 months at most... They recommend radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which I started in Szombathely. We are confident that everything will be fine here, and the next step towards a complete cure is immunotherapy, which has achieved very good results in many patients treated. Here is an article with more information about immunotherapy. We have appealed for help so that Csenge, my granddaughter, and Abigél and Dalma, our two little ones, can have more time with their mother, and we are very grateful to everyone who helps us, even if only a little, to achieve this goal. We would need €85,000 to do this, which would cover part of the cost of the trips!

The reason why we are collecting in euros is because we have to pay the clinic in euros and therefore the success of the fundraising would not be affected by the change in the forint-euro exchange rate.

If you would like to support my treatment with any amount you can do so by following the steps below. Then you have to choose the amount, then the payment method and your email address, and your name if you want to. You can then set a slider to set if you want to support the developers of 4found.com, this is set to 20% automatically but can be dragged down to 0%, then click the donate button to start the payment.
