Hi, I’m Katalin Petrik, the founder of GazdiMester.

For me, dog ownership has never been just about discipline. Over the past 10 years – as an agility competitor, coach and trainer – I have learnt that the most important thing that can exist between two living beings is trust and understanding.

I often see isolation in owners’ eyes: when their dog is fearful, reactive, or simply ‘different’ from the others, and because of this, they don’t dare to go out into the community. At the moment, I hold my sessions in public spaces, where a fenced-off area offering safety isn’t feasible.

My dream is an 800 m² community dog park in Győr, where there is no judgement, only support.

What am I raising funds for? A safe, fenced-off, grassy area that would provide a home for:

• Community training sessions: where owners can finally understand their dog’s language.
• Agility and Hoopers sessions: for the joy of playing together and the thrill of success.
• A safe zone: for shy or reactive dogs for whom traditional schools are too noisy.

I believe that “the goal is not the perfect dog, but the perfect relationship”. This place would not just be a piece of land, but the heart of a community, where every dog – whether small or large, brave or timid – gets a chance at a happier life.

Hi everyone, I’m Katalin Petrik, the founder of GazdiMester.

I currently hold my classes in public areas where a fenced-off area providing security is not feasible.
