Hello, I'm [MariadeLurdesdeOliveiraRodrigues] and I'm asking for your help with something that means a lot to me: recovering my health, my self-esteem and my quality of life.

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with gastric cancer and had to have my stomach removed. Since then, eating has become a daily challenge, and without teeth, chewing is a constant pain. I lost my teeth at a very young age due to a lack of calcium and, although I used to wear prostheses, today they no longer fit.

More than an aesthetic problem, the lack of teeth has a profound effect on my life: I can't eat properly, I feel weak and I even avoid smiling or talking to other people. Only those who go through it know how much it hurts, inside and out.

Unfortunately, I can't afford dental implants. I've been unemployed for two years due to the after-effects of the cancer, and my priority has been to look after my family. But I don't want to give up on myself! I want to smile again, eat without fear and live with dignity.
