GIVE A HOLY CROSS OF THE PASSION TO A PRIEST TO MARK THE 2000TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REDEMPTION OF HUMANITY BY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

In 2033, we will celebrate the Great Jubilee of the Redemption of Mankind by the Lord Jesus Christ. In Poland, the Bishops’ Conference has announced the start of a 9-year Novena to prepare the Faithful for this Great Jubilee.

By supporting our fundraising campaign,you canoffer a priest or another suffering person a crucifix prepared by us,which faithfully depicts the suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ and the price of our salvation. 

In these times of a cruel struggle against the Holy Catholic Faith, in these times of a struggle against the Holy Cross, when it is ungratefully removed from walls, in these times of confusion and idolatry, our aim is

• to honour the Most Holy Love of the Lord Jesus Christ for mankind and to reveal its True Price
• to proclaim thatSalvation is not possible without Suffering, and thereforeone must not reject the Holy Cross in one’s life
• to promote the Devotion to the Holy Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ
• to support the Priests of the Holy Catholic Church

The Holy Image of the Passionate Lord Jesus Christ was created based on the descriptions of Blessed Catherine Emmerich and the latest research on the Shroud of Turin. The first Holy Image we created was almost life-size. Working on it was a deeply moving experience for us.

We encounter opinions that such a realistic depiction of the Lord Jesus Christ is difficult to accept, even offensive, and that such a Lord Jesus should not be shown to children. However, we have in our hearts Our Lady of Fátima, who showed little children what hell looks like. We wish to show the True Lord God and the Truth all the more so because our eyes and the eyes of our children are, in today’s world, almost constantly bombarded by the crude reality of evil.

WE HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTING HOLY PASSION CRUCIFIXES FOR OVER A YEAR

Before we set up the Fundraiser, we had already distributed over 70 crucifixes. They found their way into the hands of people in Poland, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the USA, Canada and the UK. This was a gift from our Donors and our Team.

HOLY CROSS OF THE PASSION 

We produce crucifixes in various sizes. The most popular choice is the Holy Passion Cross with the following dimensions:

• Height of the vertical beam of the Cross – 39 cm
• Height of the figure of the Most Holy Body of Jesus Christ – 15 cm

The crucifix is made of wood (oak, larch), the figure of the Lord Jesus Christ together with the Crown of Thorns is made of highly durable plastic, and the nails are metal. The entire Holy Image is hand-painted and protected, making it weather-resistant.

By supporting our fundraising campaign, you can donate such a Holy Cross, together with a Holy Prayer, to a priest who serves in your parish or community, who may be persecuted or experiencing great suffering or a crisis of faith. 

You may suggest a specific person to whom we should send the Holy Cross, or leave it to us. We are in contact with many priests, and Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Passion will find His way into the right hands. Please contact usat [email protected])

WHERE THE HOLY CRUCIFIXES ARE MADE

We are a small carving and carpentry workshop calledSt Joseph’s Workshop, where for several years we have been creating carved and painted sacred images, as well as altars for celebrating the Most Holy Tridentine Masses and church furnishings. We also produce home shrines. We encourage families to pray together daily and to create worthy places of prayer in their homes, dedicated exclusively to God in the Most Holy Trinity and to the Immaculate Queen, the Mother of God, Mary.

We are not a typical manufacturing or profit-making enterprise. Our primary focus is on evangelisation and aid initiatives for priests. Through our Deomeo Foundation, we have been raising funds for several years for poor priests to provide altars for Tridentine Masses; we also organise collections to support priests and orphans in Cameroon, as well as prison chaplains and prisoners, and to assist sick priests.

HOW WE WILL USE THE FUNDS RAISED

• We are organising a collection to cover the costs of distributing Passion Crosses: for materials and production costs, including the manual labour of our staff, as well as packaging and postage.
• A 39 cm Holy Cross, including international postage, currently costs around €101. We also include a magnetic stand, which allows you, for example, to remove the Crucifix to kiss it and then safely put it back. 
• Our dream is that by 2033, 2,000 Holy Crosses will have been distributed worldwideas a symbol of the Holy Church’s endurance. We are currently running this fundraising campaign for the first phase of the initiative, covering250 Holy Crosses. Therefore, to complete our initiative by the end of 2026, we need €25,250.
• At the same time, we are running the same campaign on the Polish crowdfunding site – https://zrzutka.pl/ckjedn. We hope that the love of the Polish people for the Holy Cross will inspire other nations to a revival of the Faith. May Poland and the world glorify the Passion of the Lord.
