On 9 August, the families of Viorica and Vasile Ciocoiu, Raluca and Ionuț Ciocoiu – along with their two daughters – and Alina and Cristian Croitoru – along with their daughter and son – suffered a terrible tragedy. Their home in Bod, in Brașov County, was completely destroyed by fire. Fortunately, everyone escaped unharmed, but they lost everything: from memories to the basic necessities of daily life.

Their story:

There are three families of people just like you – hard-working, loving and caring; who have done everything to provide their children with a safe and happy environment. The fire took everything from them in a matter of moments, leaving them without a roof over their heads and without the hope of rebuilding their home on their own. Children aged between 9 and 15, their parents and grandparents have been left without a home, without clothes, savings or valuables.
