In the heart of Văliug, amidst the forests, fresh air and tranquillity of the mountains, there is an old house full of memories.

Our dream is to save it and turn it intothe Story House– a warm, authentic and welcoming place where people can come to breathe, rest, eat well and rediscover the joy of simple things.

We don’t just want to build a guesthouse.

We want to createa sanctuary for the soul.

We are a family that believes in hard work, hospitality and people.

I am a chef with 29 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and a sommelier.

I have spent my life providing people with flavour, atmosphere and memorable experiences.

My wife is a psychologist and a person dedicated to the community.

Together, we want to build a place where people feel welcome, listened to and pampered.

Our plan is to turn the house into a family-run guesthouse with:

• 4 guest rooms
• a separate family area
• a cosy living room with a fireplace
• a wine cellar with wine tastings
• a kitchen where we’ll cook with love
• courtyard and outdoor relaxation areas

The Story Cottage will be more than just a place to stay.

Once the project is complete, we commit to offeringtwo free campseach year for20 children from disadvantaged backgrounds, where they will find peace, nature, good food, enjoyable activities and memories that will give them confidence. And most importantly, education. 

We believe that a beautiful place has true value when it can do good for others too.

To demolish the old building and construct the new project, we need significant resources.
