Rome.Ice, a 5-year-old wonder betrayed by those who should have loved him forever, but Forever does not exist if you get leishmaniasis. And little does it matter if when they adopted you you were healthy, sweet and socialised. Theygot tired. Then an epileptic seizure due to neglect of treatment for leishmaniasis brought it all to an end! After 4 years at home, thrown into a kennel, sedated, and defined as 'dangerous'. you woke up inside a cage. And you had nothing. You lost everything, even what you were. And that you are no more! I took you out of that hell, put you in a paid stall, but it was no good. You need presence, cuddles, love. not a box where you spent your days practically alone. Now you are at home with a volunteer who, despite the thousands of difficulties you are facing, is making you feel at home again! But since the first stall you have "inherited" 3 phorasms that penetrated under the skin and then walked internally..and that, despite specific exams and double intervention to detect them and to sterilise you, (expenses sustained by us))were not detected...months of antibiotics, anti-inflammatories,...but the wound did not heal, because the infection was from inside..not outside! And on 13/03/2025 Ice had to undergo another operation, this time though..decisive. The post-surgery is now left, and a bill of more than 500 euros to pay, on top of all the expenses incurred from September 2024 to date...antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, drains....and of course the usual medicines for his ailments...We can no longer sustain everything...We need help...don't leave us alone...Ice needs an education, he is reactive with his peers and with people...The time spent in kennels and not being socialised by his "family" of the past, have left deep scars...and so it is not easy to find an adoption for him...obviously1

Until Ice finds his Adoption of the Heart we will be with him...always. Help us not to let him down...because all alone, it's really hard!!!!We will provide every single receipt and receipt of groceries sustained...
