Hello, my name is Isabella and I was born in Florence, Italy on 28th October 2010.

I inherited an extraordinary passion for motorsport from both my parents who met participating in a rally. At the age of 3, I stole my dad’s tractor to take it for a ride round the garden, so it seemed only natural for them to introduce me to Go karting. 

We are an average family so we need to manage the racing season in a family orientated way. This means we need to utilize our limited resources effectively and minimize our costs. My dad is my mechanic and my Mum organizes the logistics and everything else. We joined the great team of Ward Racing back in 2021. Our success has been founded on the discipline required for endless hours of practice at the track, teamwork and my burning ambition.

In 2018 I made my debut, competing in the Cadetti category and by the end of 2019 I graduated to the Formula Micro category and competed in some of the regional championship races in Sweden. In 2020 I moved up to Mini category and competed in the regional and national Swedish championships MKR and SKCC (I was Mini district champion in 2022). However, the biggest leap forward was in 2021 when I established myself in Formula Mini as one of the top 5 drivers and moved into junior classes such as OKJ and Rotax Junior. In 2023 I became vice champion in OKJ in MKR serie in Sweden and made my debut at the international race Trofeo Margutti, Italy. Season 2024 saw me finish in the top 8 Rotax Max Challenge Sweden as well as continuing racing in OKJ in Italy and Sweden. In 2025 I’ve been racing in my first season in Senior class OKN in Italy.

I love karting, it’s my greatest passion, I excel at it. I am highly motivated and focused on the track, I am particularly fast in the rain. I am dedicated and work hard every day to improve as a driver. I believe in the philosophy ‘hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard’. I’ll never give up.

I am member of the Motor club Aci Sport, Italy and this year I have been competing in the Italian Championship in Senior class OKN. During this championship, Aci Sport, the Italian Federal Driving School and also the FIA International Women Commission in motorsport have been keeping an eye on new emerging talent. As a result, they’ve offered me an exceptional opportunity to drive in the ‘Arrive & Drive’ World Cup in Malaysia and it’s on this stage where I’ll really be able to demonstrate what I am made of! 

This World Cup is a completely new concept of FIA and there are only 54 drivers from around the world admitted for each category (Junior and Senior). There is however one condition; equal equipment for every driver. Nearly all the places are assigned by direct nomination from belonging to ASN but a few spots were available for spontaneous applications. The chosen location is Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia at the famous LYL international circuit. This is the largest karting track in Asia offering 6 different racing track settings. I will be racing on the longest - 1,5 km.

In order to participate in this World Cup in November I really need some support because this nomination has come totally out of the blue. I’ll have to cover expenses; such as training days at the track, a guarantee deposit for my go-kart and also the entry fee.
