This is Nerina, a rabbit about five months old. I found her four days ago in a cardboard box next to the rubbish bins, but unfortunately Nerina has a leg out of place, so the next day I immediately took her to the vet, Gaia, to check her health. She is fine, but during the examination, the vet gave her an ultrasound scan to see what the problem was. Nerina has a broken hip and foot, a problem she has had since birth, the vet Vincenzo Ricotta told me. He gave me two options: the first was to operate and insert two pins so that Nerina could live a healthy and happy life; the second was to leave her as she is, but with complications, because she will start to have bleeding wounds that could lead to infection.I asked the vet how much the operation would cost, because I was willing to help her, but he asked for 2,000 euros, a sum that I absolutely cannot afford. I feel so sad and helpless seeing her like this. She is so sweet and tender. The only solution is to ask all of you if you can help me by raising funds.
