Description
Hello, my name is Filip and I am the creator of the medieval RPG Legacy of Valor.
Besides being a working father of two children, my passion for programming and computer games has never left me.
I've always dreamed of making a game one day and offering medieval RPG lovers a new look into this era as a noble, where they'll encounter the hideous greed for power of a greedy nobility capable of scheming for their own good, having affairs with anyone and marry off their offspring into "marriages of convenience", but at the same time experience the authenticity of the cruel misery of the Middle Ages, diseases, filth, brothels, poverty and much more.
Legacy of Valor is a realistic story-based RPG in which you will not find traps in the form of dragons, wizards or spells, but you will experience the joys and sorrows of the real Middle Ages first hand. Only you decide the fate of your hero. Will you become the beloved lord of your people or the feared outlaw? That depends only on you.
What stage is the game at?
An advanced phase of development is currently underway, namely the demo version.
What game systems are already created?
A combat system that allows the player to use swords, axes or bows.
Map containing castle, settlement, nature.
Travel in the game world either on foot or on horseback. Or even swim in the river.
Seasons, time of day and weather change.
There is the possibility to trade in cities, to make swords in forges, to cut down trees or collect herbs in forests.
In the fields, the player can start farming.
Nature is alive, animals move in it and they can be hunted.
Interact with secondary characters in the world.
Game character attributes, level system and inventory.
What game systems are currently in development?
Fishing in rivers and ponds.
The development of the cooperative regime.
Building your own settlement, managing subjects.
Improvements to the combat system are also being worked on.
Game interface.

What will the funds from the campaign be used for?
My goal is to create a game that will be original and unique in its genre. I don't want to stay halfway and make unnecessary compromises in quality.
Your support will be used to create advanced game systems, improve already functional game mechanics, improve animations, purchase additional assets, create cut scenes, ensure quality dubbing and last but not least, thematic musical accompaniment.
In the long term, I would like to add a co-op mode so you can fully enjoy the game with your friends.

Beginning of the story:
The story of the game begins idyllically. You are a young nobleman who lives in the court of King Theodore II. in the capital of the kingdom. As a member of the Crown Prince's retinue, you enjoy life, festivities, tournaments, drinking and women. Lately you have taken a liking to the young wife of the local burgrave. And that is the beginning of your downfall. Burgrave gets the news about his wife's affair and challenges you to a duel. But the burgrave is known as an excellent swordsman, and you cowardly run away instead of an honorable duel.
You are fleeing the capital with no money, no property, no position, and above all no honor. For the first time in your life, you will have to take care of yourself and earn money for food and lodging. You wander around the countryside for a while until you finally decide to return to your old estate. However, the seat of your family, once a strong castle, burned down many years ago and you have no choice but to embark on a difficult restoration.
Further, the story will unfold according to your decisions. You can become a good and beloved lord of your subjects or a feared bandit. And what will you do with the burgrave? Will you face him in a duel, reclaim your honor, or attempt an insidious revenge? You must also not forget that all your decisions will have consequences. Both short-term and long-term.
An integral part will also be the production of your own objects, weapons, food and others.
You solve the surplus of production by trading with other cities and thus one of the ways to gain reputation and discover new places.
