Hi, everybody. Making a collection to go to a concert in Leipzig may seem like a silly thing to some. But I'll tell you my story. There's a rock band called Dream Theater and there's a drummer called Mike Portnoy. I'm currently managing an Instagram fan page for him (Portnoypageofficial), where I'm followed by over 14k people. I have 14 people. I started the page in 2020 and a lot has happened since then. Mike and his family have become a part of my days, I get a huge amount of support from them, sometimes we text each other who's doing how, it's really incredible. Earlier this year I went through a miscarriage that caused me to lose my job. I live in a small town, job opportunities are almost nil and although I'm trying, I haven't been able to find a job yet. Mike will be performing with his band in Leipzig, and that's probably my last chance. I have a chance to meet him (maybe for the last time) and give him and his family the presents I have for them. I want to thank them for all the support and kind words at a time when I needed it the most. I'm raising money for a ride to Leipzig, a VIP ticket and a room to stay in for the night. I'm going to make a vlog about everything and show you all how much it means to me. Every penny will move me closer to Leipzig, so please help me with any amount you can, every euro counts.
