Run the City. Draw the Change. - For IONAS
Description

Two runners. One Ironman. One cause.
We're Loukas and Theodosis — two Athens-based runners preparing for our first full Ironman race in Frankfurt (28 June 2026). That's 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, and a full 42km marathon.
But we're not just training for ourselves! Every training run we do draws a shape on the map of Athens using GPS - hearts, stars, running figures etc. Each shape tells a story about accessibility, inclusion, and the right to move freely in your own city.
All funds go to IONAS - a nonprofit that has been training para-athletes at the Olympic Athletic Centre (OAKA) since 2007. Their athletes compete in running, swimming, cycling, triathlon and other sports. They do their own Ironman every single day. https://www.ionasoaka.gr/
This initiative is proudly supported by Brooks Running — helping us turn every kilometre into impact.
What your donation supports: Specialised training equipment for para-athletes
How you can help beyond donating: Share this page. Follow our journey on Strava and social media. Run a GPS art route with us. Talk about accessibility. Every action counts.
