A family in distress. Let’s give them a glimmer of hope.

In a modest corner of Bucharest lives a family sorely tried by fate – a mother and father with big hearts, but whose lives are marked by pain, who are doing their utmost to raise their three children.

Two of the children, aged 18 and 20, suffer from severe autism and significant intellectual disability. The third child is 15 years old and tries, as best he can, to help his family.

The father, aged 47, has a serious heart condition. He suffered a pre-heart attack in 2020, and in 2024 he required medical intervention once again due to an acute myocardial infarction! 

He has become very weak and emaciated 

Despite his suffering, he has never given up on his desire to provide a decent life for his family. But his strength is failing him. The illness is wearing him down, and the pain is not only physical but also emotional.

The three brothers also have a 21-year-old sister who is married! But her situation is also very difficult!

Their story begins with pain, right from childhood.

Their mother was raised in an orphanage from the age of 8, after losing her own mother, and their father was never present in her life.

Their father was abandoned on the streets by his own mother after she separated from her husband. He grew up alone, surviving without a family or support – he wanted only one thing: to have a real family of his own. He managed to build one, but life has once again brought him overwhelming hardships.

Now they need us. They need you. They need anyone who can lend a helping hand.

Their needs are urgent:

A place to live – it doesn’t matter whether it’s in Bucharest or outside it, as long as they have somewhere to shelter their children.

Clothes – for parents and children.

A job – any opportunity for the mother or father to work can help them regain their dignity and hope.

They are not asking for luxury. They are simply asking for a chance. They are asking to be seen. They are asking for a touch of humanity.
