My partner tragically took his own life in December 2022 after a long-term illness, including liver transplant surgery in 2019 and subsequent neurological damage that left him unable to walk unaided, speak clearly, and suffering intense nerve pain. I was there for him every step of the way. He wore nappies for a long time, and I would rush from work several times a day just to keep him clean and comfortable.

After his passing, I was left to settle both his debts and my own. In addition, I am trying to support my elderly parents, who survive on a combined pension of only 500 euros. My father is 81 and still actively searching for work, but when he is employed, it quickly becomes clear that he is no longer able to be productive.

I also care for two elderly dogs and four cats. I rescued all of them from terrible conditions, and I couldn’t find them good homes when they were younger. Now, my dogs need ongoing treatment for heart, pancreatic, and liver issues, and the veterinary bills have drained me financially.

In short, I give my all to help those in need, but I’ve reached a point where I don’t have enough food to eat —my bank account is blocked, my salary is halved, and I am unable to pay my bills or buy food. I am reaching out in hopes that someone out there can see my plight and offer even the smallest amount of help.
