My name is Valentin, and my goal is to become a professional pilot.

The total cost of pilot training is 60,000 euros. The flight school is located in Brașov, Romania, and it provides the full professional path required to enter aviation as a career, not as a hobby.

This is where reality becomes difficult.

In Romania, average salaries are very low compared to the cost of aviation training. Even with discipline, sacrifice, and constant saving, reaching this amount would realistically take 20 to 30 years. Waiting that long would mean missing the window in which this career is possible.

I explored every alternative.

Banks do not finance pilot training here. Educational loans for this field are extremely hard to obtain, especially without significant guarantees. I am not avoiding responsibility, work, or effort. I simply reached a system that offers no viable path forward.

Flying is not a fantasy for me.

It is the profession I choose, knowing it requires discipline, responsibility, and years of commitment. I am fully prepared for the work, the pressure, and the long road ahead. What I lack is not determination, but access.

I am aware that my dream is not a life-or-death emergency.

That said, it is my future. I help others whenever I can, within my means, and today I am asking for help myself. Even a small contribution moves me closer to starting this journey instead of watching the opportunity fade with time.
