Description
In an ideal society, every child should have access to food, medical care, education and a safe environment in which to grow up. Unfortunately, the reality is different for many children with disabilities who come from disadvantaged families.
1. Children with disabilities need special careUnlike other children, those with disabilities need treatments, medical equipment, therapies and specialised support. These things are expensive, and many families cannot afford to provide them.
2. Poverty affects them even moreMany children with disabilities come from low-income families, where parents are either unable to work because they need to care for them, or lack the resources to provide them with a decent standard of living. These children not only need medical support, but also face a lack of food, clothing or school supplies.
3. Limited access to educationFor a child with disabilities, access to education is already difficult due to physical and social barriers. Without the necessary resources, many of them do not receive an adequate education, which reduces their chances of a better future.
4. They are more vulnerable to discrimination and exclusionChildren with disabilities are often marginalised and treated differently. Through our donations, we not only offer them material support, but we show them that they are not alone and that society stands by them.
5. Every gesture counts! You don’t have to donate large sums of money to make a difference. A parcel of food, clothes, school supplies or even a gesture of support can mean the world to these children. Through solidarity, we can offer them the chance of a better and more dignified life.
By helping these children, we are helping to build a better, more humane and more compassionate world!
