Romania’s National Robotics Team, AutoVortex, proves that excellence knows no bounds when passion, hard work and intelligence come together!

We are the first foreign team in the world to have secured first place at the World Robotics Championship in Chicago, USA, in 2021.

Three international competitions in 2026. Three consecutive victories.

• 1st place – “Tournament Champions” & highest score at the VEX Robotics European Open Championship, #Turkey

• 1st place – “Tournament Champions” & “Robot Skills Champion” at the VEX Robotics African Open Event, #Morocco

• 1st place – “Tournament Champions” with both AutoVortex robots at the VEX #Andorra European Open

This performance qualified us for the VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, #USA — the world’s largest robotics competition, recognised by Guinness World Records — where we also won the Sportsmanship Award.
