Hi there! We are SkyWeavers, a quadball team from Łódź (formerly quidditch). We made a promise to ourselves and our fans that we would keep working hard—and we proved it at last year’s European Cup by securing 5th place. Then, we won the Polish league!! Thanks to this, we have qualified for the tournament of the best teams in Europe.

We dare to believe that dreams can come true, but we can't do it without your help. Traveling to Spain comes with high costs that each player must cover, so we are asking for your financial support.

What are we raising money for?

A team of 18 SkyWeavers players will be heading to the European Cup. The cost per player is around €400, which covers:

✈️ Flight – approx. €140

🏨 Accommodation – approx. €185

🎟 Tournament fee – approx. €70

🛡 Insurance – approx. €15

Quadball? Never heard of it…

Maybe quidditch sounds more familiar? Yes, our sport has its roots in the Harry Potter series! But don’t be fooled—it’s not just a game, but a dynamic and engaging team sport. Quadball combines elements of handball, dodgeball, and rugby. It is the only full-contact, mixed-gender sport in the world.

European Quadball Cup

The EQC (European Quadball Cup) is held annually in two divisions. Each country is allocated spots in Division 1 and/or Division 2, as determined by Quadball Europe (the organization overseeing European teams). Teams qualify through their national leagues.

Last year, we competed in EQC – D2, which was made possible thanks to the support of many generous people—we are incredibly grateful for that! This year, we’ve earned a spot in EQC – D1, which will take place in Salou, Spain, on March 29-30, 2025.

About SkyWeavers Łódź

Our team was founded in 2018 as the first quadball team in Łódź (back then, still called quidditch). It started with just five friends and big ambitions. Thanks to determination, dedication, and skill, we’ve grown steadily—our team now has 25 players, including 7 new members who joined us after the last EQC. Additionally, two players from Warsaw Mermaids and Poznań Capricorns have strengthened our squad.

We train year-round, in all weather conditions, twice a week. We participate in friendly tournaments (Q6, KQC), play scrimmages, and in the summer, we go on training camps. We also take part in various events and conventions, such as Pyrkon, Łódzkie Targi Aktywności, Skiercon, and Kapitularz.

We promote quadball through social media, radio, TV, and local events—we want to make this sport even more popular!
