Description

Hello to everyone reading this right now, and thank you for taking a moment to read it.

A bit about me: I’m 21 years old and come from the Ruhr region. For the past seven years, I’ve spent my time looking after my father as he was very ill. Unfortunately, I was never able to complete an apprenticeship as I was always looking after my father, but I did have various part-time jobs that I could do. I worked whilst looking after him and saved as much as I could; at 21, or rather a few months ago, I managed to fulfil a dream by paying for my driving test and passing it. The first thing I did was put my father in a car (which I’d borrowed) so I could take him out into the fresh air again after so many years. I’d also already had a bit of money set aside to slowly buy my first car. Sadly, my father passed away just one month after I passed my driving test… I was the only person he had… I spent all my savings on his funeral; to be honest, I also received financial support from friends as funerals are very expensive… It’s now been a few months since my father passed away and I’m slowly trying to get back on my feet. As I unfortunately have no formal training, it is difficult for me to find work; there are a few jobs where I might have a chance of working, but I need a car for them, and this is how I would like to try to finance a car, including the necessary insurance, so that I can integrate into working life. I’ve already tried the Job Centre, but my application for a loan was rejected… I would be truly grateful to anyone willing to help and give me a chance to get back on my feet and build a new life for myself.

I would also like to thank everyone who has read this far and wish you all the very best🫶🏻
