Help me get back to life - Fundraising for lyme treatment

Hi!

I'm Vivien, 29 years old and I've been battling an insidious chronic disease for years : Lyme disease and its co-infections. This disease has completely turned my life upside down : physically, mentally and emotionally.

Lyme and its co-infections affect all my organ systems. It is associated with neurological, cognitive, hormonal and digestive symptoms: chronic fatigue, muscle and nerve pains all over my body, muscle weakness, tingling and numbness in the extremities, concentration problems, anxiety, depressive periods, sensitivity, food intolerances, food allergies, and countless other symptoms associated with physical and mental exhaustion. Since starting my treatments, some of my symptoms have intensified (Herxheimer's reaction), which is natural, but still extremely stressful. I have reached my limits physically and mentally. I even find it difficult to talk a lot of the time.

Unfortunately, in Hungary there is no complex treatment at the level and effectiveness that would give me a real chance of recovery. However, in Slovakia there is a Lyme specialist clinic where Lyme patients are treated with targeted therapies (BCB Clinic). People with chronic Lyme disease need a comprehensive, longer course of treatment, which I could get here. However, this has a serious financial cost and unfortunately I am unable to fund it on my own.

I didn't think I would ever create a post like this, because I always try to do everything on my own, but it came to the point where I had to admit that I need help.

So I ask you, even if it's just the price of a coffee, to support me in getting to this clinic and continuing my treatment here. At the moment, I am in a lot of pain, exhaustion and the resulting ordeal every day, even if it does not show.

The amount would go towards:

• consultation, lab tests
• antibiotics and complementary therapies
• detox and neurological support

I would like to live again. I want to get back to myself, my body, my soul, my life. I want to finally live the things that others take for granted: to laugh honestly again, to love, to move, to travel, to be free.

Since starting treatment, some of my symptoms have intensified due to a Herxheimer reaction - a natural but incredibly draining process. I've reached my physical and emotional limits. Some days, even speaking is a challenge.

Unfortunately, in Hungary, there is no comprehensive or sufficiently effective treatment available that offers a real chance at recovery. However, there's a Lyme-specialized clinic in Slovakia (BCB Clinic), where patients receive targeted therapies. This clinic could be my chance to truly live again - not just survive. Healing from chronic Lyme disease requires an extended, personalized treatment process, which I can access there. But these therapies come at a high cost - and I'm not in a position to cover them on my own.

It's hard for me to write this post. I've always tried to solve things on my own, but I've reached a point where I must acknowledge: I need help.
