Unfortunately, we can no longer put off renovating our home.

The heating system is over 45 years old; we currently have an old FÉG gas boiler, which is outdated, wasteful and breaking down more and more frequently. The system does not meet today’s safety and energy efficiency standards.

In addition, the roof structure of the house is in need of complete replacement, as it no longer provides adequate protection against the weather.

The aim of the fundraising:

🏠 complete roof replacement (material costs, labour costs, necessary structural repairs)

🔥 replacement of the 45-year-old heating system with a safer, more modern and energy-efficient solution

This renovation is essential to ensure that the house is safe, can be heated and is sustainable in the long term.

We have three young children. The youngest is my grandchild, whom we are raising. He has a chronic condition – he is asthmatic. My partner earns the minimum wage in Hungary, so he is working. Unfortunately, I cannot find a job anywhere. Having three children is a lot. No employer is keen on that, especially when there is a chronically ill child. Our income is low, but our gas bill is huge because of our outdated heating system. Our aim is to ensure we are not put at risk because of this. It is unsuitable both for health and financial reasons.
