Hello to everyone out there 👋🏼

a short introduction to me my name is Mario and I am 25 years old.

I can't really say what exactly I'm hoping for but I hope there are people out there who might be able to read through this and help.

My parents bought a house about 25 years ago which was their absolute dream house but what they didn't realise at the time was that it was the start of a hellish journey that has continued to this day.

We never really had a bad childhood and my parents did everything they could to make sure we were okay and we didn't realise much about the whole issue.

The older we got, the more we became aware of the problem.

As a small child, for example, my dad was never at home because he had to work three jobs and I'd like to tell you why.

When my parents bought the house in question, they weren't told that it was heavily in debt.

Over 1.5 million shillings at the time.

My father worked his arse off back then and had a lot of problems to deal with, including health problems, as he'd already had three heart attacks and several slipped discs, all so that he could keep the house.

My mum was busy with us four children, which was of course also exhausting work.

To this day, we have never had much money, but we thank God that we still managed somehow.

Unfortunately, the problems are still very much in evidence today as the house is still almost €150,000 in debt.

My parents are physically exhausted, especially my mum, who cries every day because despite all the pain she's in, she still goes to work to somehow pay the house instalments.

She just wants a life without all the stress, not knowing what will happen tomorrow and of course that takes a toll on us as children and we try to help where we can.

My father would die for this house, which of course I understand because he put his blood and sweat into it.

It was never an option for him to sell it because he has a very strong will and wants to do everything on his own, but sometimes you just need help from outside.

As the only son in the family, I can't watch all this anymore.

I see how my parents suffer every day and I want them to be able to live the rest of their lives without any problems or stress, as I said they are both physically very weak.

I ask the people out there to help us somehow, even if it's just with a little something.

This was unfortunately only a small part of the whole story but I hope that you can understand Minion in some way and I would like to thank everyone who can help my parents fulfil their dream of finally being debt-free for which they can't really do anything.
