Description
Hello everyone out there 👋🏼
A quick word about me: my name is Mario and I’m 25 years old.
I can’t really say exactly what I’m hoping for right now, but I hope there are people out there who might read this and be able to help.
About 25 years ago, my parents bought a house that was their absolute dream home, but what they didn’t know at the time was that it would be the start of a living hell that has continued to this day.
We never really had a bad childhood, and my parents did everything they could to make sure we were happy, so we didn’t really notice much of the whole situation.
The older we got, the more we realised there was a problem.
When I was a small child, for example, it started with my dad never being at home because he had to work three jobs – I’d like to tell you why that was.
When my parents bought the house in question, they weren’t told that it was heavily in debt.
In fact, it was over 1.5 million schillings at the time.
My father worked his arse off back then and had to contend with a great many problems, including health issues, as he’d already had three heart attacks and several slipped discs, and all that just so he could keep the house.
My mother was busy looking after us four children, which was of course hard work in itself.
To this day, we’ve never had much money, but we thank God that we’ve managed somehow despite everything.
Unfortunately, however, the problems are still very much felt today, as the house is still in debt to the tune of just under €150,000.
My parents are physically worn out, especially my mother, who cries every day because, despite all the pain she’s in, she still goes to work just to somehow manage the mortgage payments.
She just wants a life without all the stress, without not knowing what tomorrow will bring, and of course that affects us as children too, and we try to help where we can.
My father would die for this house, which I understand, of course, as he has put his heart and soul into it.
For him, selling it was never an option, as he has a very strong will and wants to achieve everything on his own, but sometimes you just need a helping hand from outside.
As the only son in the family, I can’t stand by and watch this any longer.
I see how my parents suffer every day, and I want them to be able to live out the rest of their lives without problems or any stress; as I said, they are both, unfortunately, in very poor physical health.
I’m asking people out there to help us in any way they can, even if it’s just a small contribution.
Unfortunately, this is only a small part of the whole story, but I hope you can somehow understand my situation, and I would like to thank every single person who can help fulfil my parents’ dream of finally being debt-free – a debt for which they are actually not at all to blame.
