AV Drinks is a Spanish family-run business with over 15 years of history, specialising in the export of wines, cavas, sparkling wines and other high-quality beverages. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to bring the best products to Nigeria, our main market. However, over the past year, we have faced a devastating economic crisis due to the historic depreciation of the Naira, the Nigerian currency (which has quadrupled the cost of imports into the country), making imports into the region extremely difficult.

The sharp fall in the Naira has drastically reduced our sales from 40 containers a year – necessary to maintain the company’s viability – to just 5 this year. Despite the adversity, we continue to fight to keep going. In recent months, we have diversified our projects, including the export of products such as tiger nuts from Nigeria to Spain and the launch of our line of men’s scented candles, Nalivi, to be sold in the United States and Europe via Amazon.

Despite these initiatives, the debts we have accumulated with banks and suppliers threaten our very survival. We need to raise €300,000 to settle our obligations and continue with our projects. With your support, we will be able to keep alive a company that represents the tradition and quality of Spanish wines and cavas, whilst exploring new business opportunities that will secure our future.
