Hi, I'm Rodrigo 💙

I’m 11 years old.

I can’t speak as well as other children, but I can communicate through gestures, facial expressions, eye contact and assistive technology.

I really enjoy spending time with my family.

I like water and I love swimming.

I like listening to music, especially fado.

And I really like motorbikes and going for drives with my mum and dad.

I have cerebral palsy and a lot of motor difficulties. My body doesn’t always do what I want it to.

I need help every day with lots of things, but my parents do everything they can to help me have the happiest and most comfortable life possible.

We recently discovered Trexo Robotics.

Trexo is a robot that helps children like me with walking movements and can be a great help in my daily life, with my mobility and my well-being.

For many people, walking is normal.

For me, every little movement is a huge achievement.

My parents want to take me for an intensive week of therapy sessions with Trexo in Lanzarote first, so they can better understand how the equipment can help me.

Our dream is to be able to buy the Trexo so that I can use it regularly.

The equipment is very expensive, so we’ve decided to ask for help.

Any contribution can make a difference.
