Description
Hello!
We are Kiko, Natalia, Brais, Violeta and Antonio. We have been volunteering in Kenya at a school called Crystal View, run by Madame Rebecca. She wanted to change the lives of the children living there and decided to save up some money to rent a house made of stone and corrugated iron so she could teach and give the children some education. They started with eight children, and over time the number has grown to over 80. With so many children, the rented space has become far too small for them all. That’s why Rebecca managed to buy a plot of land near the current school, but they need to start building on it. but they do not have the necessary funds to do so. At the moment, they only have a structure made of four sheets of metal with almost no roof, sitting on very small, half-broken plastic chairs and a large wooden table covered in mould, and the blackboard is not exactly in the best condition for teaching a class. Speaking to Madame Rebecca, she told us that building a classroom costs around 500,000 shillings, which is equivalent to about €3,750, so that is where we will start. Every donation counts, no matter how small; with just €1 you can change lives. Help us and bring joy to the children, knowing that by going to school they can get a better education and a brighter future!
