Description
We are the Šilutė rugby club ‘Titanas’. For the past eight years, we have been shaping the sporting history of Šilutė by organising regular training sessions for children and young people, giving them the opportunity to discover the sport, learn about its health benefits, and compete. By taking part in various rugby championships and events across Lithuania, the children build their physical strength, improve as players, and develop a sense of responsibility and an understanding of teamwork.
We are nurturing Lithuanian women’s R-7 champions and winners of international competitions, as well as participants and winners of children’s and junior rugby competitions; we organise events in our town or simply enjoy playing with a rugby ball.
The funds raised will be used to purchase sports kit for the children: competition shirts, tracksuits, outdoor jackets and rucksacks.
