Appeal for solidarity: Let's help this brave cat back to health!

Dear animal lovers,

The ASSBEA association, which usually devotes its efforts to rescuing horses, has exceptionally opened its arms (and its heart) to a little creature in distress: a stray cat of around 9 years old, found in a condition that broke our hearts.

When we discovered him, he was extremely thin, to the point where his bones were protruding under his coat. He could no longer eat, as his mouth was badly infected and inflamed, preventing even his tongue from remaining inside. His suffering was immense, but this cat showed an incredible will to live.

Thanks to a first visit to the vet, where he unfortunately had to have 5 rotten teeth extracted, he is starting to feel a little better. But there's still a long way to go before he regains his strength and can finally live a pain-free life.

Unfortunately, the association's financial situation is very fragile, especially after the intensive care recently given to DJ, one of our ponies. The veterinary costs for this cat already amount to €300, and we still have to provide him with :

• food supplements to help him put on weight,
• fish oil
• a joint mixture to strengthen his weakened body.
• quality pâté (he can't eat kibble yet)
• another visit to the vet

We've given everything we can from our stock, but it's not enough...
