Description
A call for solidarity: Let’s help this brave cat get back to full health!
Dear animal lovers,
The ASSBEA charity, which usually devotes its efforts to saving horses, has exceptionally opened its arms (and its heart) to a little creature in distress: a stray cat of around 9 years old, found in a condition that broke our hearts.
When we found him, he was extremely thin, to the point where his bones were protruding beneath his fur. He could no longer eat, as his mouth was severely infected and inflamed, preventing even his tongue from staying inside. His suffering was immense, but this cat showed an incredible will to live.
Thanks to an initial visit to the vet, where he unfortunately had to have five rotten teeth extracted, he is starting to get a little better. But there is still a long way to go before he regains his strength and can finally live pain-free.
Unfortunately, the association’s financial situation is very precarious, particularly following the recent intensive care provided to DJ, one of our ponies. The veterinary costs for this cat have already reached €300, and we still need to provide him with:
- dietary supplements to help him put on weight,
- fish oil,
- a joint supplement to strengthen his weakened body,
- high-quality wet food (he cannot yet eat dry food)
- another visit to the vet
We’ve given everything we could from our own supplies, but it’s not enough…
👉 We need your help to keep giving him a chance at life.
Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference. Together, we can give him the care he deserves and give him a second chance.
📢 Thank you for your support
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity. This brave cat, whom we now call Hulo, will be eternally grateful to you.
With our deepest gratitude,
The ASSBEA team
