This is my home.

It took years of work, sacrifices and effort to get here and turn this apartment into a place that truly feels like mine. That's why I'm deeply attached to it — and why simply walking away from it has never felt like the right answer.

Over the last few years, I've also been through some personal difficulties that changed the way I look at my life, my time and my priorities.

I'm doing okay. I'm not facing an emergency, and I don't want to pretend that I am.

But keeping up with a mortgage and all the costs that come with owning a home has become a weight that affects many of the choices I make.

And that's what this fundraiser is really about.

I have ideas I want to pursue. Projects I want to build. Things I want to try, even if they might fail.

But having a large financial commitment every month makes taking those risks much harder.

So I decided to try something unconventional:

I'm asking the internet to help me pay off my mortgage.

My goal is to bring the remaining balance down to zero and keep the home that took me so much effort to build — while gaining something that, to me, has become incredibly valuable:

freedom to choose what comes next.

I'm not expecting anyone to change my life with a huge donation.

Actually, I like the opposite idea much more.

€1, €2, €5.

Small contributions from people who simply like the idea and want to be a tiny part of this story.

Although, if a billionaire happens to read this and wants to pay off the whole thing... I'm not going to stop them. 😄

Every contribution will go toward paying down the mortgage, and I'll share the progress publicly so that anyone who contributes can see the number getting closer and closer to zero.

Maybe this works.

Maybe it doesn't.

But I think it's worth trying.

And if one day that balance finally reaches €0, it won't just mean owning my home without a mortgage.

It will mean having the freedom to decide what I want to build next.
