A ride across the Netherlands, for those who never got the chance.

We’re cycling 280 kilometers, from Breda to Groningen, in a single, untrained push.

Not for ourselves. Not for glory.

But for those who never had the opportunity to ride.

For most of us, riding a bike is second nature — a childhood memory, a daily commute, a symbol of freedom. But for many, that freedom doesn’t exist. People with disabilities — especially children — are often excluded from the simple joy of movement.

We’re doing something about that — even if it’s small, it matters.

By pushing ourselves across the country on race bikes we’ve never ridden, we’re choosing to use our strength for something greater:

to give someone else the chance to move — to ride, to play, to feel free.

This isn’t just a ride.

It’s a statement.

That movement matters. That freedom should be for everyone.

We’re setting a simple, symbolic goal:

€280 — one euro for every kilometer we ride.

It’s not a big number. But it represents something bigger:

a country crossed in solidarity,

pain turned into purpose,

a ride with meaning.

All funds will go to Fonds Gehandicaptensport, a Dutch charity that works to make sports and movement accessible for people with disabilities. From handbiking and wheelchair basketball to inclusive cycling clubs, they help turn limitation into liberation.

Every cent you give brings someone one step closer to feeling the joy of movement.

This is not a race.

It’s not about medals.

It’s about meaning.

We’re not cyclists.

We’ve never ridden race bikes.

But we ride now — for those who never could.

We’re doing it because we can — and because others can’t.
