Description
This is our little Bailey, a three-month-old beagle cross. She travelled from Karditsa to Athens full of hope that she would find her forever home. During her first few days with us, everything was wonderful, but suddenly she began to show severe loss of appetite. We took her straight to the vet, where she was diagnosed with typhus.
For those who don’t know, typhoid is an extremely dangerous and contagious disease that mainly affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. Bailey has been hospitalised for the fourth consecutive day at the Iasis Animal Clinic on Alexandras Avenue, where the vets are doing everything they can to save her. She is undergoing all the necessary tests to ensure she receives the best possible care.
As of 7 December 2024, the costs for the first three days of her stay have already reached €300. We are doing everything in our power to get her better, but we need your help. If you can, we warmly ask you to contribute to her veterinary costs, so that we can see our little Bailey happy and healthy by our side this festive season.
Even if you cannot help financially, sharing her story would be invaluable in helping us find people who can support this cause.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your help and wish you a very happy festive season with your loved ones! ❤️🐾
