My name is Margarita; I am an immigrant doctor from Argentina, currently living in Spain.

Due to a delay in the work of the relevant Ministry, I do not have authorisation to practise my profession (I am a doctor).

And due to a very sad social prejudice known as ageism, I have not yet managed to find a stable job.

I am here with my teenage son and am trying to bring my other son over to the country.

We come from a very difficult and complex situation in our country of origin.

We are doing well here, enjoying the safety and kindness of the people.

But our financial situation is critical.

We need money for rent and food

I just want to work.

I am a medical intern and a nutrition specialist.

I’ve also trained as a professional chef. I love healthy eating and helping people.

I hope that from this injustice, this deprivation and this pain, what emerges is not charity to feed us, but a noble job from which we can all benefit.
