The house where I grew up has burnt down… please help us rebuild it.
My name is Brigitta and I am 26 years old.
A few days ago, my family’s life changed completely. A fire that started in an outbuilding, for reasons unknown, spread rapidly and engulfed my parents’ house, the place where I grew up. In a matter of minutes, everything was destroyed.
My parents, my younger sister and my 85-year-old grandfather managed to escape with their lives, but the roof, the ceiling and the outbuildings were reduced to ashes.
It is heartbreaking to see my parents brought to their knees by helplessness.
That is why, with all the hope in the world, I am asking for your help. Any amount, no matter how small, is a great help.
