Help Abu Bakarr, Get Life-Saving Surgery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I am writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my husband, Abu Bakarr Koroma. He has recently been diagnosed with a serious medical condition—fibrous dysplasia of the bone, although a meningioma is also being considered. The condition has caused painful pressure and swelling that is now affecting his vision and overall health.

Doctors have urgently recommended surgical decompression, a delicate procedure that can relieve the pressure and give him a real chance at recovery. The surgery must be done in New Delhi, India, and the total cost of the procedure and related expenses is €11,300

Abu Bakarr and I have dedicated our lives to fighting for women’s rights, justice, and the health of our communities in Sierra Leone. Now, we find ourselves in a moment of deep vulnerability—and we need your help.
