🇵🇱 THE ROAD TO TOKYO – HELP ME FULFIL MY SPORTING DREAM 🇯🇵

My name is Jarosław Ciba.

Today, I have a tremendous honour and, at the same time, a huge challenge – the opportunity to represent Poland at the IFA Armwrestling World Championships in Tokyo in 2026

That is why, for the first time, I am asking for your help in making my sporting dream come true. ❤️

🇵🇱 FROM BUSKO-ZDROJ → DUBLIN → TOKYO 🇯🇵

I’m from Busko-Zdrój. Today, my life and training are centred around Dublin, but my heart remains close to the place where I come from.

The chance to represent Poland at the World Championships in Tokyo is a huge source of pride for me. I’d love for people from my home town to join me on this journey, as well as my family, friends, acquaintances and everyone who’d like to support me as I fight to make my dream come true. 🇵🇱❤️

For the past three years , my great passion has been arm wrestling.

I represent the Heavy Arms Kraków club, and I live and train in Dublin on a daily basis.

I combine sport with working night shifts. Despite the tiredness and my daily responsibilities, I try to find time for training and preparing for the most important arm-wrestling events.

🏆 MY SPORTING JOURNEY 2025

🥉 Bronze medallist at the Polish Championships – right arm, Masters 86 kg

🇵🇱 Representing Poland at the IFA European Championships in Estonia in 2025

🇵🇱 Representing Poland at the IFA World Championships in Azerbaijan in 2025

2026

I took on a new challenge and moved up to the Masters under 78 kg category.

At the Polish Championships, I won:

🥉 Bronze medal – left hand

🥉 Bronze medal – right arm

I also recently had the great honour of representing Poland at the IFA European Championships in Romania, where I finished:

🏅 4th place – left arm

🏅 5th place – right arm

🇵🇱 NOW IT’S TIME FOR TOKYO

Each of these results is another small step forward for me.

Every medal, every fight won and every competition gives me even greater motivation to train.

I can see huge progress and I believe I’m capable of even more.

My biggest sporting goal is to win a World Championship medal.

For me, this isn’t just another trip to a competition.

It’s a dream I’m working towards every day.

I’m training as hard as I possibly can.

I don’t know what the result will be in Tokyo.

But I know one thing:

IF I GET THE CHANCE TO STAND AT THAT TABLE, I’LL PUT MY HEART AND SOUL INTO IT.

The journey from Dublin to Tokyo, flight tickets, accommodation, meals, transport and the costs associated with competing involve significant expenses.

I am not a professional athlete who earns a living from sport. I work to support myself, whilst at the same time trying to fund my own training, preparations and competitions.
