This fundraiser is for Hera, her kittens Hestia, Hermes, Hector and Mr Iggy Pup -- five rescue cats from Spain.

Their stories

Kittens Hector, Hestia and Hermes were rescued from a vacant property at about 8 weeks old. They were running across a busy road to dumpster dive, and were sick from worms.

Their mama cat Hera, was rescued a few weeks later so she could be spayed and vaccinated.

Iggy Pup was rescued from outside a supermarket, where he lived in a hedge next to a busy road. He was unable to eat due to advanced periodontal disease; he also has chronic kidney failure. After surgery to remove over a dozen rotten teeth, he is able to eat and live a cat's life.

The funds

Your donations support the following one-off medical costs:

-Initial deworming for kittens: approx 25E/kitten

-Vaccinations: approx 30E/per kitten/per vaccination (kittens require two rounds of vaccines)

-Deworming, vaccinating and spaying Hera: approx 350E

-Spaying Hestia & Hector: approx 250E/each

-Neutering Hermes: approx 150E

-Diagnostics for Iggy: approx 300E

-Dental surgery for Iggy: approx 300E

And the following ongoing medical necessities:

-Kidney supplement for Iggy: approx 30E/month

-Ongoing antibiotic treatment for Iggy: approx 15E/treatment

-Routine anti-parasite treatment: approx 15/cat/month

Any additional funds will be used to trap-neuter-release street cats in the area where Hera, Hermes, Hestia and Hector were rescued.
