Smaranda has been fighting for her life for years.

She has had a kidney transplant, lives with type 1 diabetes, is wheelchair-bound following a stroke, and is undergoing intensive treatment with immunosuppressants. And now, the danger is once again immense.

The doctor has detected a lack of pulse in her left leg, a clear sign that blood is no longer circulating properly, with a blockage somewhere.

🔺 The greatest risk? The newly transplanted kidney might no longer be receiving enough blood and oxygen, which would put it at serious risk of rejection, thereby implicitly putting her life in danger.

Furthermore, on the lower part of the left leg, any minor scratch – even a mosquito bite that he scratches – turns into a wound that won’t heal, due to his extremely low immunity and lack of blood and oxygen – the reduced flow of blood and oxygen could lead to the limb being amputated.

🔴 The operation is scheduled for Monday at Sanador Hospital, as it cannot be performed in a state hospital. The procedure will be covered by co-payment with a referral.
