I am Tjaša Tibaut, a PhD in Biomedicine in love with sport. I have loved sport since I was a little girl, it is my passion, my hobby, my job. I could say that I live (for) sport. In my life's journey and self-discovery, besides being loyal, dedicated and successful in sport, I have also obtained a PhD. I have been driven by my love for sport and work, and by my analytical and research spirit.

After more than 20 years, I ended my sporting career last year. Part of my childhood sporting dreams, despite a wealth of national successes, remained unrealised for various reasons. I always believed that I could do more and that we deserved better conditions for development. After my career ended, my path turned towards working with young people and I felt that I had a wealth of knowledge and experience that I wanted to pass on. I believe that I can enable young talents to develop even better and more optimally in our country, helping them to realise their sporting dreams. Above all, I felt that these children deserve maximum professional attention and dedication from the management and coaches for optimal growth and best results, which is not yet sufficiently supported financially in Slovenia. For this reason, we coaches, especially the female coaches, are looking for additional resources to be able to do our job optimally.

I am raising funds to make the sporting dreams of young athletes come true: for sports equipment and to give them even better conditions to train, progress, develop, grow and achieve the success we all believe in together.
