Hello everyone, let us introduce ourselves. We are Giulio, Ilaria, Isis an 11-year-old border collie and Mizzi a 17-year-old half-breed. Our problem is that we were kidnapped by a very sweet little dog, abandoned in a veterinary clinic after being run over. The damage she suffered was unfortunately many: a compound fracture with splinters in her femur, several fractures in her pelvis, a tarsus fracture, sciatic nerve damage and sacro iliac diastasis on the other paw, as well as a major flaying of a large part of her back. In short, there were so many things to do that we didn't know where to start! But somehow we did, we decided that this life still had so much to give to the world and we named her Lux. Lux is an 8-month-old dog, very sweet and with a great desire to live and start running again. Thanks to many angels, the skin on her back has started to grow again, we started with long orthopaedic surgeries to try to fix what we could but then the tetanus slowed us down. But Lux's fortitude was never lost and despite everything we got through that too! Now, however, the fractures have to be re-intervened and we, his best human friends, realise that the expenses to be borne are beginning to be too great. We don't want to stop, we really believe that Lux will one day be able to walk and run in the meadows again, as she probably also dreams of when her little paws are seen cutting through the air. We therefore ask you to believe with us and help us to give her a future.
