My name is Alex. For the past two years, I’ve been living with 16 furry souls — dogs and cats that nobody else wanted.

Some were hit by cars and left with broken legs, some were thrown out of moving cars like garbage.

The first one I rescued was a small dog I found trembling in the snow, tied up with a rope. That day, I made myself a promise: if I could save one, I’ll try to save one more.

That’s how my little shelter began.

Now there are 16 lives depending on me.

Every morning starts with feeding, cleaning, and giving medicine. Every evening ends with the same question — will there be enough food tomorrow, or will I have to choose between kibble and antibiotics?

I’m not asking for much. Even a small donation — a dollar, two — turns into food, warmth, and another day of life.
