About Me – The Person Behind This Plea Hello, my name is Isabelle, and from the moment I learned of Cassandre’s plight, I knew I had to become her voice. I have always believed that our compassion for the most vulnerable among us is a measure of our own humanity. For as long as I can remember, my heart has had a special place for animals. They offer us unconditional love and unwavering loyalty, asking for so little in return. It’s a bond I cherish, and one I feel a deep responsibility to protect. I’m not a large rescue organization with vast resources. I am simply one person who cannot stand by when an innocent life is suffering. When I saw Cassandre’s photo—her eyes wide with fear and pain, her tiny body broken and discarded—I made a promise to her. I promised her that she would know kindness, that she would feel love, and that she would have a fighting chance. This fundraiser is the fulfillment of that promise. Every single donation will go directly towards Cassandre's urgent leg surgery, her pain medication, her post-operative care, and her rehabilitation. I am committed to providing her with the safe haven she needs to heal, both physically and spiritually, with the ultimate goal of finding her the loving, forever home she deserves.
