A Heart for Our Therapy Animals – So That My Children Don’t Lose Their Footing
Dear friends, family and kind-hearted people,
I am writing to you today with a request that is not easy for me to make, but which is vital for my children and our animal family members.
As many of you know, our lives are filled with animals. For my children, however, they are far more than ‘just’ pets – they are their vital therapy animals, sources of comfort and loyal anchors in everyday life, as well as following a divorce. Without these animals, my children would lose their most important source of support and a part of their quality of life.
Unfortunately, the current economic situation has now brought us to a point where it has become almost impossible to cover the high costs of food, vet bills and care on our own. I am fighting with every means at my disposal to avoid having to give the animals away, as this would break my children’s hearts and jeopardise their development.
