Who I am and what I offer I am Kati Rannamees from Irisx Studio in Tartu, Estonia. As one of the world's first dedicated iris photographers, I offer a glimpse into the hidden universes within our eyes. Following the success of my first exhibition, "Unseen World – Magnified Beauty," I am now creating my next major showcase: "Seeing the Unseen" World Discovery 2026.

I offer an authentic, once-in-a-lifetime experience where I capture the iris in its true, unedited glory, preserving its natural colors and raw beauty without the artificial enhancements often found in commercial city studios.

The current situation I am currently pushing the limits of a decade-old Nikon D7200. While I invest every cent I earn back into my art, my current gear has become a technical barrier. To capture the depth and microscopic detail required for international galleries, I need to move to professional-grade equipment.

Why this is important to me This project is my life’s work. I believe that the human iris is a masterpiece that deserves to be seen in its full, magnified glory. Reaching a global audience is a goal I cannot achieve alone. I want to showcase the peak of what is possible when human biology meets state-of-the-art technology, revealing a world that remains invisible to the naked eye.

How the funds will be used I will use the collected funds to acquire the professional tools necessary to scale my art to a world-class level:

• Nikon Z8 body: For the resolution and precision needed for large-format gallery prints.
• Nikkor 105mm Macro lens: To capture the intricate textures of the iris with absolute clarity.
• Exhibition costs: Supporting the "Seeing the Unseen" opening in October
