Hello, my name is Jana Richterová and I am the mother of little Noel. On 17 March 2024, our lives were turned upside down when our 5-year-old son was diagnosed with a devastating illness – lymphoblastic leukaemia.After the diagnosis, there was panic, fear and anxiety about what would happen next. Noelko spends all his time in the oncology ward at the hospital in Bratislava. He has just recovered from severe pancreatitis. He misses his two beloved little sisters, Samia (1 year old) and Leyla (3 years old). His father works as a barber; he doesn’t have a fixed salary, as it depends on the number of customers. I am on maternity leave, and we live in rented accommodation.

We have found ourselves in a difficult financial situation, so I am asking you, kind people, for help so that we can make Noel’s time in hospital a little more pleasant.The money would be used to buy a second-hand car, as ours has finally given up the ghost and travelling by public transport with two small children is a struggle due to connections and delays. If we had a working car, we would all be able to visit our son in hospital more often.  

The funds would also be used to pay the rent, utility bills and food for the children. We will be truly grateful for every single cent. Thank you
