I’ve been competing at the highest level for many years and I’ve won numerous world titles. Despite this, however, I’ve never had anyone to support me. For the last 15 years, I’ve been struggling to get by on my own. I don’t have a team behind me like all the top athletes do. There are times when I don’t even have anyone to coach me, so I try to manage on my own. When I go to other countries for competitions, I go on my own, asking someone there for help or asking a friend to come and help me. When I get injured, I find it difficult to see a doctor. In 10 days’ time I’m going to compete in America at a major event, and I’ve asked a friend to come with me.

I’ve been living in Thailand for the last five years and I’m struggling to get by. I’m in an environment where there are only men and they’re all much younger than me, and unfortunately, where I am (Thailand), that matters a lot to them

It’s important for me to keep fighting because it’s something I love very much and I inspire a lot of people, and people inspire me.

The aim of raising money is so that I can pay for a doctor when needed, eat a healthy diet and live a little more comfortably in my daily life.
