I would like to share with you the story of my little boy, born on 16 March 2021, with severe and complex heart conditions, five different abnormalities. The severity of the problems, which were not detected during pregnancy, was discovered a few hours after his birth. This came as a huge shock to us. She was immediately transferred to GOKVI in Budapest, where treatment was urgently started and the situation quickly required surgical intervention.

At first they tried to fix him with medication, but failed, and at two weeks old a shunt was inserted between his heart and lungs to provide him with adequate oxygen. A few days later, another operation was carried out as the shunt became inflamed and a chest infection developed. He was treated with an open chest for 11 days, and although the outlook was not promising, our little boy heroically survived! We then had to deal with a number of problems: too much blood in the lungs and a cardiac catheterisation was needed. It took the doctors several tries to get him off the ventilator, but they finally succeeded. We were later transferred to Miskolc, where we were able to leave the hospital after a long time without oxygen, under constant observation.

Although we were happy to bring him home at the time, after a week we were hospitalised again due to low oxygen levels. Since then, he has required many hospitalisations and has had several bouts of pneumonia, including one due to an infection caused by COVID-19. Last February, during surgery, he had a 16 mm blood vessel with a valve inserted. Unfortunately, after the surgery, she developed a number of complications: blood loss, cardiac enlargement, bleeding and other problems that left her chest open for three days. She had a lot of hardships, but she overcame them all!

We are now under close medical supervision again and another operation is needed, but we don't know the date yet. As we spent a long time in hospital, we incurred a lot of expenses as my partner was unable to work due to our little boy's condition. We would therefore like to ask for your help. Any donation such as food, diapers or cleaning products would be a huge help to us.

If anyone can help it would be a huge help!

I have tried to look for work in the area unfortunately without success, no nursery friendly jobs are available unfortunately.

But I am trying. So however I'm enrolled in school, I'm doing the trade I've always wanted 😊

But I'm hoping to find a job that I can do with the kids besides school.
