Description
This is my dog, Marlon. He’s only two years old and was poisoned. I realised something was wrong because he was vomiting constantly; he couldn’t keep any food down for two days. The toxin level was eight times higher than normal; many other dogs wouldn’t have survived.
He is receiving intravenous fluids; his kidneys are no longer functioning properly, as the threshold level of 14 has been exceeded.
He is being given anti-vomiting medication: Cerenia 60mg and Famotidine 20mg. He is also on a special diet.
Regular blood tests are included. I’m really glad we were able to save him, as he’s an absolutely brilliant dog and companion.
As I live alone and he requires long-term medical treatment, including medication and special food, I am finding myself in a very tight financial situation. That is why I would be incredibly grateful for even a small contribution, so that Marlon can soon be his old self again and look forward to a healthy and long life.
