Hello, my name is Steven, and I’m reaching out with a plea for help. Our beloved dog, Max, is not just a pet, he is a part of our family. He has been with us for seven wonderful years, growing up alongside my son, who loves him more than anything. Seeing them together, playing and cuddling, has been one of the greatest joys of my life. But now, Max is in danger, and we are desperate to save him.

Recently, Max was diagnosed with gastric volvulus (bloat), a life-threatening condition where his stomach twists, cutting off blood flow. Without immediate surgery, he won’t survive. The vet has told us that time is running out, and the cost of the procedure, around €1000, is more than we can afford right now.

My son is heartbroken. He doesn’t understand why his best friend is in pain, why Max won’t play like he used to. Every night, he asks me if Max will be okay, and I don’t know how to answer him. We’ve spent all our savings on vet visits and medications, but now we need help to give Max a chance at life.
